The Story
We see it in our society; we have seen it happening at home, in our extended family or friends. And, we wish we could help them but we are no experts nor do we have means to tackle this. Sometimes, we tried to reach out to them but they seem to be unreachable.
As females, we want to love and be loved, accepted, respected and valued for being us, for being our authentic self regardless of how we look, what we think or who we are.
However, in the process of growing up and developing our selves, our opinions, thoughts and actions get suppressed by cultural norms, by naysayers and the opinions of people who matter to us. Our inner voice stays as our inner voice.
As a community, we face social issues with young girls being impacted by negative influences from age as young as 11 when they start to seek support and acceptance outside of home. Their sense of insecurity, self-doubt, lack of esteem and not being understood
led them to seek validation externally instead of from within.
A step or decision wrongly taken may change the course of their life and affect them well into adulthood.
This issue does not only affect dysfunctional broken families or girls in disadvantaged situations. We face this even in developed countries, in functional two nuclear parents families, in part because the girls felt disconnected with those who matter to
them.
The statistics are not high, but the impact is huge. While the society see them as rebellious delinquents, we see them as individuals looking for understanding and support.
We seek to empower young ladies with self-confidence and esteem, to not seek external validations for their worth, to know the right choices to make because of self-love and respect and live with no regrets
L³ Hub
The Hub is born to:
* Provide a 'safe space' for girls to commune, find support and support one another,
* Mend relationships with people who really care for them,
* Enhance their character to build their self-esteem, worth and loving themselves as individuals through:
- dedicated programs,
- counselling and
- motivational talks from mentors and women who have been through it,
* The Hub also serves as an education centre to provide tuition classes with improved learning methods and,
* Enrichment classes in the form or art, music and writing sessions to allow students to learn and find their own ways of expressions.
For this, we need support from the society to make the Hub happen, to build supportive environment, programs and activities engagements to help these young individuals develop themselves do they can step into the next stage of their life with confidence.

The Future
We believe education is key to the growth of younger generations nowadays, but education does not mean wisdom. The Hub focuses not only on academics but also place equal importance on personal growth.
The Hub aims to practice an open door concept where students and youths can commune at the Hub after classes or sessions to revise their studies or seek guidance or advices. Parents or guardians will also be more at ease knowing that their children or wards
are in supervised or reliable environment.
The objective of the Hub is realized when children and youths can come to the Hub, feel free and safe to commune and interact with each other; especially for girls who know that they can come to the Hub any time they need guidance.
