More than two years ago, in the highlands of Minembwe in the Fizi Territory in South Kivu (East of the DRC) that there were armed conflicts which destroyed almost all the villages of the Banyamulenge invaded by all the other neighboring tribes (Fuliru, Bembe, Nyindu allied with foreign armed groups such as the RED Tabara of Burundi)
As an impact, we aim for Minembwe where food stability is restored and malnutrition eliminated.
The outcomes are as follows:
- The number of meals is increased to at least twice for each family per day;
- The baseline for the state of malnutrition among the ID community is established;
- Each family has at least a short-term crop harvest and a short-term crop plantation to link hard times to the big harvest;
- The local capacity to deal with malnutrition in children under 5 is strengthened within the community and groups;
- The information sharing and knowledge management system on the nutritional status of refugees is improved

results and the team to serve this population, Wemen Concern invites you with
