Help Us Help the Children of the South Sudan Aliab Community.
This is a community of families AND widows and orphans. There are no supermarkets. There are no car dealers. There are no restaurants. Just a community working to survive.
These are the orphans of the Aliab community. They need our help.
Years of War have left the people of the Aliab villages struggling just to have enough to eat every day.
*** Crippling and life threatening disease is a way of life. Medical care is hard to get to.
The people in the Aliab community have to walk up to 75 miles to Joba just to visit a clinic or hospital. Would you be able to survive?
This was the life of Kuol Aleng, our visionary and founder.
*** He lost his entire family to disease. For years he had no contact with his family.
*** Leaving his boyhood home for Ethiopia to escape war, he eventually traveled to Kenya. Kuol was fortunate. He became one the Lost Boys of the Sudan, moved to America, graduated from high school and became a US citizen.
Kuol now wants to give back to his childhood home. The ultimate goal of the South Sudan Aliab Education and Relief Fund is to provide the Aliab community medical care, education and tools and training to improve their food sources.
This is our first goal! A used van to be used by the people of Aliab for transportation to Joba for health care. This is a 75 mile trip that will begin to solve the existing problem of the villagers walking to Joba.

BY PROVIDING NEEDED TRANSPORTATION TO CLINICS AND HOSPITALS, we can begin to help the people of the Aliab, especially the orphans, improve their health care.
This is a used Toyota TownLite van. This used van or one similar to it will be used to begin improving the health of the citizens of the Aliab community. This is our 1st goal. This van or many like it are available in Kenya and range in price
starting at about $14,000, plus fees and delivery to South Sudan.
*** We can’t do it alone. We need your help. Help from our friends and the friends of our friends.
*** If you can pledge just 5, 10, 20 or even 100 dollars, Kuol can start to realize his vision.
