Wirra Sports Great Southern
The Wirra Sports program offers a weekly sports program in which positive Aboriginal mentors deliver key fitness, health and nutrition messages to Aboriginal children and their families.
* Since February 2014 the program has supported 36 clubs in the Great Southern region.
* The Wirra Sports program has distributed Kidsport vouchers to 71 Aboriginal children in the Great Southern who previously were prevented from joining in sport and recreational activities.
* The Friday night sports program currently has 40 children attending weekly
Campaign Goals
Your donation will help us purchase sporting equipment, healthy food and provide positive Aboriginal mentors for participating Aboriginal children.
A donation of $50 will provide one child with a healthy lifestyle pack.
