About This Project
Hi there! We are the current team of interns at StartSomeGood, and as our major project we are working on #StartingGood 2017, a free-to-access virtual summit for social entrepreneurs and aspiring changemakers.
In 2014, StartSomeGood held a virtual summit that brought together various experts and speakers to talk about tools and tactics for creating social change. In March 2017 we're doing it again, only bigger and better than before!
We are bringing together some of the world's most inspiring and insightful entrepreneurs, academics and trainers to provide practical tips on how to get started, tools for social change, avoiding burn-out, and much more.
You will hear from social entrepreneurs further along in their journey, who will share their mistakes to help you avoid them, and what they've learned along the way. You will have access to some of the best online trainers in storytelling, fundraising, personal sustainability and marketing.
We'll be announcing many more great speakers in the lead-up to the event.
The #StartingGood Social Enterprise Virtual Summit will give you free access to over 24 video sessions, many of them live to give you an opportunity to interact by asking questions through an online platform.
At StartSomeGood we get to meet so many aspiring change makers. Some are well-seasoned and know their way around, while others are still finding their way. We want you all to succeed in your world-changing projects, which is why we are working hard to provide you with coaching that would set you up for success.
We are also passionate about emerging forms of social change like Social Enterprise so that is a key theme.
We are looking forward to launching this project for you but to do the best possible job we need to raise some modest funding. While interning with a crowdfunding platform, we thought what better way to get immersed into the business than by running a crowdfunding campaign ourselves?
It would be amazing if you could help us out by supporting our campaign. We have great rewards up for grabs for you, all of which will help you to take the next step to make a difference!
Rewards
We are offering a range of rewards geared around providing opportunities for emerging and aspiring social entrepreneurs to take the next step in your changemaking, including discounted memberships, books, courses and events.
