Tom is the co-founder and entrepreneur-in-residence of StartSomeGood. He's the founding Director of the Australian Changemakers Festival, the founder of Vibewire, and opened Australia's first co-working space SquareOne in 2006. For twenty years Tom has been exploring how technology and culture can be harnessed as tools to create a more democratic and participatory society.
Caitlyn is the General Manager of StartSomeGood, coordinating and co-delivering programs. Caitlyn has unique experience supporting impact-driven startups and social enterprises across Australia, and is knowledgeable in government, industry and community liaising. Caitlyn also works as the General Manager of Boomerang Labs, circular economy startup accelerator and Rocket Seeder, agrifood startup accelerator.
Parish Priest Father Jesse Poole’s background is all about service from jobs in hospitality, event management and even politics. At the age of 27, following 7 years in regional Ministry he relocated to Kempsey taking up the position of Parish Priest. He knows that church communities are full of passionate people who love the communities they live in, that are an untapped nexus for supporting place-based community-led change.
Courtney established Alt-Collective in 2018 with a focus on Peer Supported Business & Professional Development Programs. Over the past 5-years Alt-Collective have delivered 1,000+ 1on1 Support Sessions - 250+ Workshops & 20+ Special Programs & Sweet Retreats. Previously Courtney established a successful Craft Beer Bar/Restaurant & Live Music Venue, prior to which he spent 10-years working the machine that is Local Government!
Julie is a business advisor and coach with a difference. She has over 2 decades of hands-on experience running businesses across a vast array of industries, and is an author and creator of practical resources that support business-life balance and sustainable growth. She is passionate about guiding people from where they are now to where they want to be, transforming ideas into impactful and meaningful outcomes. Her work is centred on sustainability, holistic, and regenerative practices, aligning business success with positive environmental and social change.
