Prevent Defense Program facilitators share their experience with addiction and the latest facts with middle and high school students so that more young people NEVER have to share their experience with addiction.
*** Between 25 and 40% of those young people who drink alcohol or smoke marijuana before the age of 20 will struggle with addiction or alcoholism in their future. We assist educators and parents to influence young people to make the BEST informed decisions
regarding drugs and alcohol.
*** Service to others is a key principle for recovery for the addicted. We help recovering people find purpose in their fall into addiction. We help those who have lost loved ones to addiction also find purpose in the tragedy of their loss.
*** We want every student to hear-first hand the REALITY and the FACTS about addiction from someone with REAL LIFE experiences.

Starting in metro Atlanta, we want to reach every single student. The State High school requirement for health in Georgia is just one semester, so the window is very small. The most effective delivery of a PREVENT DEFENSE program is in the intimacy of a
classroom where a presenter can look every single student in the eye as they share their experience and present the facts about addiction.
*** All the schools who hosted our program in 2014-15 want us to come back!
*** Many more schools have asked that we come to their school in 2015-16
*** In the pilot programs of 2014-15 more than 1000 students took a pledge to not use drugs or drink underage.

We have found that the most influential way to share our message is to present our real-life experiences directly to young people.

*** For a $20 contribution, we will send you a "KEEP CLEAN AND SOBER ON" t shirt or you chose to donate the shirt to a person early in recovery.(along with an optional personal note) to a person that is early in recovery.
*** For a $50 contribution, we will send you a "KEEP CLEAN AND SOBER ON" T-shirt, and we will provide two T-shirts to individuals that are early in recovery.
*** A $100 contribution covers the cost of one Adult/PTA/PTSA PREVENTDEFENSE program
*** A $125 contribution covers the wages and expenses for a PREVENTDEFENSE presenter or the www.preventdefense.org website for one year.
*** A $200 contribution covers the cost of a RED RIBBON week assembly program for one school.
*** A $300 contribution covers the cost of a PREVENTDEFENSE program for one school for one semester.
*** A $500 contribution covers the cost of a PREVENTDEFENSE program for one school for a complete school year (two semesters).
*** A $750 contribution covers the cost of 150 "KEEP CLEAN AND SOBER ON" T-shirts that we will give to students who take a pledge to abstain from drugs and underage drinking.
*** A $1,000 contribution covers the entire administrative cost of starting the Prevention Offensive Inc. organization in the state of Georgia, and the IRS filings for 501c3.
