Women's Worth, Inc. helps poor self-employed women living in Nicaragua improve their businesses and earning potential. We'll provide critical business and soft skills training to help women take advantage of the opportunities around them so that they are better able to support their families.
According to the UN, women are more likely to be unemployed or lack access to monetary income. For many, the only viable solution is to become entrepreneurs within the informal economy. Unfortunately, many low-income women lack the education and resources to become successful in their business ventures. That's where we come in. We'll provide the training, support, and resources for women to become successful entrepreneurs and achieve financial independence.
Data suggests that much of the business skills training offered to low-income women in developing countries is ineffective. Women’s Worth Inc. is unique because focuses on providing training in soft skills such as critical thinking and negotiating instead of focusing purely on practical business skills.
Your support will give women in six communities in Nicaragua the skills to become better business women and increase their financial potential.

REWARDS
Cookbook:
For many women in Nicaragua, making and selling food from their home is the best way for them to start their own business. For one of the rewards for donating to the project, we've created a cookbook featuring over 20 different Nicaraguan recipes, information about specific cooking methods, as well as photographs and histories of some of the women who contributed recipes for this project. The book is softcover, with beautiful photographs on every page, and gives detailed instructions on how to reproduce some of the cooking methods used in Nicaragua at home in your own kitchen.
Prints:
If you contribute $75 or more to this project, you'll be able to choose one or more photographic prints of some of the women this project is working to benefit. To view the full gallery of prints available, click here.
