Along with a healthy and safe environment, friends, family and affection, food is one of the most important requirements for chldren to grow up healthily.
Hello we're are two girls, Gloria from Spain and Lisa from Germany.
We vounteered in Brasil at a NGO called ACAM (https://acam.jimdosite.com/) for 6 weeks. ACAM provides a safe home for the children and adolescents of Morro do Mocotó, an impoverished neighbourhood of Florianopolis, SC. From the very beginning we realized how important their work is. The children have a safe place to go, they receive love and affection, can play with friends and also learn some things not teached at school. For us one of the most important things is that they also provide three meals per day for free. Food provides the body the nutrions it needs to grow up healthily and strong and to have enough energy, specially the brain gets everything it needs so the children can learn.
The most remarkable thing is that the meals are for free, which is a huge relief for the families' economy and the whole community!
Therefore, we want to collect some money to help ACAM, so they can keep on doing their amazing work looking after the children of Morro do Mocóto!

Neben einem sicheren und gesunden Umfeld, Freunden Familie und Zuneigung, ist Essen einer der wichtigsten Voraussetzungen für Kinder um gesund aufzuwachsen.
Hallo wir sind zwei Mädels, Gloria (Spanien) und Lisa (Deutschland).
Wir waren Freiwillge in Brasilien für sechs Wochen in einer NGO namens ACAM (https://acam.jimdosite.com/). ACAM stellt den Kinder aus Morro do Mocotó, einer ärmlichen Gegend in Florianópolis, einen sicheren Ort vor und nach der Schule zur Verfügung. Von Anfang an war uns klar, wie wichtig ihre Arbeit für die Kinder und die Gemeinschaft ist. Die Kinder sind an einem sicheren Ort, erfahren Zuneigung, können mit Freunden spielen und bekommen neben der Schule Themen spielerische beigebracht. Aber der wichtigste Punkt für uns ist, dass ACAM den Kinder täglich drei Mahlzeiten kostenlos zubereitet. Durch das Essen bekommt der Körper die nötigen Nährstoffe um gesund und stark aufzuwachsen, genug Energie zu haben und das Gehirn wird ebenfalls ausreichend versorgt, sodass die Kindern lernen können.
Am bemerkenswertesten ist, dass die Mahlzeiten kostenlos sind, was eine große Erleichterung für die Familien und die Gemeinschaft ist!
Deswegen wollen wir Geld sammeln um ACAM zu unterstützen, sodass sie mit ihrer großartigen Arbeit fortfahren können und sich um die Kinder aus Morro do Mocóto kümmern können.

Junto con un ambiente sano y seguro, amigos, familia y cariño, la alimentación es uno de los requisitos fundamentales para que los niños crezcan de manera saludable.
¡Hola! Somos dos chicas, Gloria (española) y Lisa (alemana).
Hemos hecho un voluntariado en Brasil, en una ONG llamada ACAM (https://acam.jimdosite.com/) durante 6 semanas. ACAM proporciona un espacio seguro para los niños y adolescentes del Morro de Mocotó, uno de los barrios más empobrecidos de la ciudad de Florianópolis, SC. Desde el primer momento nos dimos cuenta de lo importante que es su trabajo. Los niños tienen un espacio seguro al que ir, reciben amor y cariño, pueden jugar con sus amigos y además aprenden cosas que no se enseñan en la escuela. Para nosotras, uno de los aspectos fundamentales es que proporcionan tres comidas al día de manera gratuita. La comida aporta al cuerpo los nutrientes necesarios para crecer de manera saludable y fuerte y para tener suficiente energía: en particular, el cerebro recibe todo lo que necesita para que los niños puedan aprender.
¡Lo más destacable es que las comidas son gratuitas, lo que es un gran alivio económico para las familias y para la comunidad en general!
Por ello, queremos recaudar dinero para ayudar a ACAM, ¡para que puedan continuar haciendo el increíble trabajo de cuidar a los niños del Morro de Mocotó!
