G'Day Everyone,
Our names are George and Carter. We are 11 years old. We live on the lovely Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Last year, when at the beach we saw how much rubbish and plastic there was around and noticed that most of it came from food products!
Then came the idea of the e-Pac. The e-Pac is a sustainable pac that has anything and everything you might need - it contains the following:
- coconut bowl
- wooden cutlery
- re-usable coffee cup
- full size beach towel
- collapsible water bottle, a metal straw and much more!
The e-Pac can be used by tourists and locals - we want it to help reduce the amount of rubbish from all across Australia.
Last year, we were selected as Winners of the 2019 Minister's Climate Challenge. We got to pitch our business and meet people like the Former US Vice President, Al Gore, the Co-Founder of Atlassian, Mike Cannon-Brookes, the Minister for Environment, the Queensland Chief Entrepreneur along with many more inspirational people.
We also got to meet a really cool bloke with the name of Damon Gameau. He really liked us (who wouldn't though?!). He liked us so much that he offered to help create this advertisement so a few months ago, he flew all the way to Noosa to film this video. Cool right? Thanks so much Damon for helping us put this together.
If you can't financially back us, we'd love your in-kind support. We'd love if you could share the link, promote the link, perhaps - you could even mentor us? We're young and would love all the help in the world.
If you have any questions or would like us to come and join your television show to talk about our e-Pac, please pop our super awesome 'media managers' at the Australian School of Entrepreneurship (ASE) an email via [email protected] and they'll lock it into our very busy calendars if our school and homework permits.
Thanks so much for reading.
