On Friday July 3rd, Scott Bales in conjunction with
Cycosports and the
Althete Lab Singapore will ride over 10 hours to raise funds for the Al Mubarok Orphanage in Batam, Indonesia. The orphanage runs solely from donations. The orphanage is in great need for more rooms to provide the children with more comfortable accommodation
as well as an additional bathroom. At the moment, they one have two rooms available for the children. One for boys and another one for girls and they all sleep on mattresses.
As most Cycosports races are predominantly one day events, without overnight stays, we are keen to demonstrate that we, the cycling fraternity of Singapore, do “give back” to local communities in many ways.
This year Cycosports has two objectives for the orphanages – to provide immediate help in the way of clothing and children’s items, and secondly to raise SG$10,000 by the 12th of September. The monies will be dispersed across the three orphanages and used for
much needed items like bedding and basic repairs.

Knights of Sufferlandria
There are those who know how to suffer. And there are those who do not know how not to suffer. There are those who look pain in the face and laugh. There are those who can’t look pain in the face because pain is too scared to look up from the pounding it’s
getting.
Yes, there are Sufferlandrians. And then there are Knights of Sufferlandria.
To be awarded the highest honor accorded by the Sufferlandrian Ministry of Madness, one must simply do 10 Sufferfest videos, back-to-back.
