When we talk about poverty, normally we think of extreme poverty where people have almost nothing. But there is a different kind, the one that affects those that are trying hard to survive. Those hard workers that because they don't have the connections,
it will be almost imposible for them to make a good life.
In Cunita de Angeles, we are thinking in the low income workers, we are located in an area where there are around 6000 secretaries that are earning the minimum wage (USD $ 300) a month, not enough, of course, to have the opportunity to send their babies
to a daycare.
So far we have rent a small house where we can host up to 40 children, and if we grow there are a couple of bigger houses in the area to rent.
We are now a nanny and a pre-school teacher to attend the children we have right now, but as soon as we get more children, we have a group of 5 nannies waiting to be hire, and 3 teachers as well. We have talked with the pediatrician that will visit us once
a week for the health control, and also the health insurance has to be covered.

We'd like to share Cinthia's story, she is a single mother that in order to give Rodrigo, her son, a better opportunity, she abandoned her hometown and came to the capital of the country. After looking for a job, she found one that allowed her to fullfill
her dream. Her problem was that she didn't have anyone that could help her with Rodrigo. Fourtunately we open our doors about the same time she found her job. Rodrigo arrives at Cunita around 6:30 am, most of the time still in pijamas, and stays with us until
around 7:00 pm that Cinthia can pick him up. She's very happy with all the progress Rodrigo has achieve during these months, he learn to go by himself to the restroom, he now can count up to 10, he had a great advance in his early stimulation, and he's now
two and a half years old,and looking forward for the great life mom came to give him.
Each one of the children that are attending Cunita have their own story, and we wish we could help more kids, therefor let me tell you how is your donation going to help us:
