The Casepedia Project - A Tale of Two Halves
To really understand and sense the spirit of this project, a person really needs to be able to see the world from the perspective of those who are unemployed and
desperate to find meaningful work, or even just work. We sincerely hope you have the sensitivity to perceive just how desperate many are.
Without that sensitivity, this half, of the project i.e. The Casepedia Work Experience, may seem of little consequence. So if you cannot see the desperate need for this part of the project, please explain it in full to some one who has been
out of work for a while, and see, for yourself, that once they grasp and understand its function and purpose, a brightness will enter their eyes, and you will see more than a glimmer of hope insert itself in their mind and heart - you will see that to them
they see this as the cure to a big obstacle many face when seeking employment.
Millions face this particular problem – at a Job Interview:
Interviewer: “I see that the last time you were in work was 9 months ago… what have you been doing during all this time?”
Interviewee: Stares down at their navel wondering why do they always get asked this question whenever they manage to get an interview. “I have been trying hard to find a job”
Interviewer: Looks unimpressed with the answer.
Interviewee: Looks deflated and dejected by the question.
Our solution to this big problem that occurs at many job interviews:
Interviewer: “I see that the last time you were in full time employment was 9 months ago but since then you have been working as an international court trial reporter for a law school… I’m intrigued what does an international court trial
reporter do?"
Interviewee: Eyes beaming, staring the interviewer straight in the eyes and with a confident (not arrogant) smile, launches into an enthusiastic and colourful description of all that they do and the end result of their hard work i.e. The
Casapedia Library.
Our solution: If anybody is facing the above prospect they can simply register onto our life-time programme, take our online training, start
The Casepedia Work Experience programme and prevent any more unwanted gaps growing in their CV/Resume ever again.
This will lead to more quality interviews, and basic maths shows that the more interviews you get the more likely you are to get a job. And by preventing that confidence deflating question “what have you been doing all this time?” They can concentrate on
getting a meaningful job, not just any old job.
However, for those who may want to benefit from the programme but who may lack the confidence to even register, they can take
a short pre-registration test that will build their confidence.
On our web site they can click "Work Experience" then click "Take Our CTR Test." It is online, and as we will not, at this point, have any of their details it will be completely private, with no copy kept.
On our website, click on work experience.
Then click on Take Our CTR Test.
Taking the CTR Test will help a person see that they-are-able to participate and benefit greatly from the work experience programme. Which, in turn, can significantly improve their chances of gaining meaningful employment.
Taking the test, without having to first register, will give extra confidence as to the potential value of The Casepedia Project and its work experience programme.
When they see how well they have done in the test it will encourage them to have a go. Also, for those who are lacking in confidence or are somewhat shy, they do not have to do the work experience alone. With our group-dynamic approach they can do their
work experience in court with a friend or with friends. The group-dynamic principle which harnesses the power and courage of the group and gives power and courage to the individual will empower them.
Outside Southwark Crown Court: Which one in the group is the shy one?
The Casepedia Library - the second part or half of the project.
Unlike The British Library below, The Casepedia Library will be a global, on-line library, focusing on just one thing. It will focus on court trial outcomes from around the world. Revealing the way the same crime can receive wildly different outcomes depending
upon where the crime is committed.
In one part of the world, a man receives a sentance of 3 months for stealing an apple; in another part of the world a man receives 3 years for stealing an apple. Same crime, different outcomes.
Free access to the library will be given to all who may want to gain various insights from its contents. Educational groups, equality groups, social study groups and even members of the general public. All interested parties will be welcome to access this
free resource.
Those on The Casepedia Work Experience programme will be contributing to this free global online resource. This will give additional support to their CV/Resume/job applications and provide powerful and pursuasive content during job interviews.
So, to register and get started a person just needs to go to Getting Started - see below.
Follow the instructions, and download the Work Experience Training Guide.
Take the online CTR Test – On passing they can download their Certificate.
Then from that moment on they decide which courts in their locality they want to go to.
They decide what days and for how long they want to do it - 1 day, 10 days, 48 days!
On completing their first report, they log in and upload it from their computer.
At any time they can request feed-back by using the Request a Reference option.
This will allow participants to see what will be said about them should they request that a reference be sent to a prospective employer - just another unique feature of our programme.
For those who are in work already, or who subsequently get a job, they can use their life-time membership to take any of the Free Courses that they feel may improve their chances of promotion, either within their current job, or with the hope of applying
for another more senior post elsewhere. Thus making this project, also a help to
'stay-in-work' programme.
Because this is an internet based programme, those registered from all over the world, can make use of it, whether they are in or out of work, for the duration of their working life and even beyond.
A few short quotes and one rather long one at the end from me.
Look at what one well known British Member of Parliament tweeted about Casepedia after our 1 hr chat about it -

Here are some thoughts from a couple of members of our team: Catia below said this about The Casepedia Project.
"It's so unique that it makes me proud to be a part of it"
He can't control the giggles, but in the past Paulo said "it really is a very, very good idea" and now he is one of the project's directors.

Seriously: The bottom line.
The bottom line for millions of people looking for a good job is that the only way they will get a job is by sending out their CV/Resume/Job application forms. Therefore,
the all important question is, will the first impression it gives, to a potential employer, be a good one or a bad one?
Fact: The more interviews a person gets the greater the chances of landing a job, and visa versa.
In conclusion
The problem of finding suitable employment is global and to be fair any help towards the solution should also be global. The Internet has made a programme such as ours have global reach and
with your help it can become a reality.
Rewards
Donations can be as little as £5.00 and we will show our appreciation by providing a reward which is both life-time and worth at least six times the donation in monetary terms. But,
its true value is not its monetary value, but its ability to act as a form of future job-opportunity protection, if deployed in times of unavoidable unemployment.
As the donation level rises the rewards given as a show of appreciation will enable the donors to
gift the same opportunities that they have received to family members or friends. In effect, the rewards will empower the donor to do good to others.
For example, the highest level of donation possible appoints the donor as an Ambassador of the Casepedia Project and empowers the donor to provide charities, colleges and other similar institutions
with 2,500 free places on our ‘start work’-'stay-in-work' programme (useful for college leavers wanting work experience) and ‘back to work’ programme (useful for job seekers) within the donor’s local community. This discretionary power given
to appointed donors will enable them to be a meaningful force for good within their own local community.
You may have noticed that even with our approach to our rewards, it is in harmony with our over arching principle that we try to give back more than we get -
that is our way.
So, whoever you are, a potential donor or otherwise, please recognise that this project is a force for doing some good, and
