Who are we?
A Little Sparkle was created in 2016 to provide autistic girls a sense of connection, community and self identity within the community.
A Little Sparkle creates and facilities two events a month, one for our under 12s and one for our over 12s), as well as mentoring programs and workshops for example self esteem.
A Little Sparkle is run solely by autistic women and it's making a huge impact in the lives of young girls!
“I had a mum say to me how they loved how we rejoiced in her daughter’s differences,”
“I had a little girl hug me when her mum said (before) she wouldn’t even look at me."
“We’ve had people travel to us because there’s nothing else like it.”

What is Camp Sparkle?
Camp Sparkle is an autistic girls camp which provides a safe and non judgemental camping experience for girls on the autism spectrum and will be run by women on the autism spectrum themselves.
Camp Sparkle will consist of a day program for our younger girls and a night program for our older girls.
Camp Sparkle will provide opportunities for new friendships to be made, connections and lots of activities.
Why is Camp Sparkle important?
Camp Sparkle is important because often girls with autism tend to feel quite isolated within their community.
As the camp will be fully autistic, girls will feel supported and understood and will be able to find and connect with friends who are going through the same things.
At Camp Sparkle girls will enjoy a day program of activities such as beach games, archery and other outside activities, Older Sparkle girls will partake in a self esteem worksop during the night program and a group dinner to form and make connections and life long friendships.
Crowdfunding?
We aim to raise a total of $10,000 ($5,000 has been matched by Huddle Insurance) so we need to crowdfund $5,000 to make Camp Sparkle Brisbane and Camp Sparkle Sunshine Coast a reality in 2019.
This will enable 70 girls and women on the autism spectrum to participate in Camp Sparkle as either volunteers or campers.
Rewards?
No matter how much you can give, We have some totally great rewards to say a big thank-you from us at A Little Sparkle.
