James is an accomplished environmental and social entrepreneur who has made significant contributions in various sectors, including social enterprises, not-for-profits, start-ups, corporates, and government. With a career spanning over two decades, James has been at the forefront of driving corporate social responsibility, building partnerships to alleviate energy poverty, negotiating multi-million dollar partnerships to cut carbon emissions, and spearheading groundbreaking initiatives to protect the environment. Notably, he founded The Good Beer Co – Australia’s first social enterprise of its kind – to brew beer for good causes and showcase the impact of purpose-led businesses. Recently named on LinkedIn’s list of ‘Top Green Voices in Australia and New Zealand’, James is a graduate of Cambridge University’s Climate Change Leadership program and a Climate Reality Leadership Corps Climate Leader trained by former Vice President Al Gore. He also advises start-up and scale-up businesses on sustainability and purpose, including the First Nations-owned social enterprise Sobah Non-Alcoholic Beverages.
