Who We Are
Worthy of The Crown is an up and coming non-profit organization created to better the lives of youth in the DC, VA, and MD areas. This organization was founded by three women in their mid-20’s, with the desire to help those less fortunate than themselves, grow
into productive, successful, and positive adults. We seek to accomplish this goal through our four pillars of Education, Cultural Awareness, Life Skills,and Health & Wellness. All the enrichment programs we plan to offer will be based off of these pillars.
Target Demographic of our Program
Our target demographic is high school students ages 14-18 regardless of gender or ethnicity, living in urban or rural communities with limited resources and opportunities to advance in today's society.
Execution of our Four Pillars
Education: Giving students the tools they need to excel academically. We will donate our time to tutoring and promoting literacy programs.
Cultural Awareness: Lots of us have never had the opportunity to explore other cultures outside of our own. Under this pillar, our focus is to introduce students to new ways of living and thinking.
Health and Wellness: Teaching students how to live a holistic lifestyle as well as how to take care of their mental health.
Life Skills: Preparing students to be self-sufficient and confident in all endeavors after graduating secondary school and while pursuing a collegiate degree or trade school certification.
