That’s why we started Altina Drinks.
Our Vision
At Altina Drinks, we’ve used our science smarts to create Zero Proof Craft Cocktails that pack a punch without the alcohol. We want to shake up the Aussie drinking culture by building a sustainable social enterprise that normalises alcohol free drinks and provides a delicious alternative to the booze.
When you choose our Craft Cocktails, you are also making a choice about your own health, how you drink and how drinking is perceived in our society. We want you to be part of our movement.
Our Team
Christina DeLay | Founder, CEO and Head of R&D
Christina started Altina Drinks because of her own experience with drinking. She became caught up in the drinking culture of her industry. She decided to change her relationship with alcohol, but found that there were no real alternatives that had a complex flavour profile or that made an occasion a bit special.
Christina is the scientist behind Altina Drinks' cocktail concoctions, bringing a love of food, a Bachelor of Chemical Biotechnology and a Ph.D. in Plant Biology to the table. Together with experience in business consulting and strategy, Christina has a broad understanding of business process, design and governance and is perfectly placed to steer this start up to success.
Alan Tse | Founder, CFO and Head of Taste Testing
Alan is passionate about reducing the stigma that alcoholic drinks are the only choice when socialising. He believes people should be able to drink (or not drink) on their terms, without being judged. He co-founded Altina Drinks in the hope it could be a vehicle to change the Aussie drinking culture.
His enviable job of being Chief Taster is balanced out with endless number crunching and spreadsheets brought upon by his economic and accounting prowess. His infinite resilience makes him the perfect person to look after corporate partnerships, sponsorship and PR. Alan is also determined to tell the world that you can have a sophisticated drink without alcohol and nasty additives.
How do I get involved?
We want to get to know you. We want you to try our innovative cocktails and tell us what you think so we know which ones to bottle up and take to the rest of the country. How? We love a party, so we’ve built a pop up bar. We’ll be putting on some events over the next 8 months and also invite you bring our bar to your home, workplace or event. Check out our rewards.
