Why It Matters
Aurora is home to some of the best medical facilities and providers in Colorado. So it's a little unbelievable that with all these resources, Aurora has the 15th worst uninsured rate in the United States, leaving over 85,000 people without access to the
quality care essential to living a healthy life.
With this glaring gap in healthcare, we have set out to make it better for the community of Aurora. We have gathered a group of highly motivated individuals who are dedicated to creating a new interdisciplinary health clinic that provides exceptional care.
In collaboration with Primary Care Progress, we will be providing health care that is both comprehensive and accessible. Our clinic will follow an interdisciplinary model where medical, pharmacy, PA, nursing, psychology, and dental students supervised by
faculty will provide first rate care.
Given the dedication of Aurora community experts and world-class primary care faculty available on the Anschutz campus, we will be able to provide students with top quality community primary care training early in their journey to be health professionals.
It's a win-win for everyone!
