Students at Bhassara Secondary School are eager to be returning to classes after the destruction and devastation caused by the recent earthquakes in Nepal. Thankfully, the students have been reported safe so far, but the school building itself is in need
of important repairs.
Help these students come back to a safe & positive learning environment by funding the building's repairs!
Located in Lalitpur, Nepal, Bhassara is a unique school that uses exciting techniques for meditation, character education, and bilingual instruction. TIEs with Teachers recently completed a
successful crowdfunding campaign for a project we developed with Bhassara for American teachers to visit the school and learn from their teaching methods, as well as share their own
methods. However, the earthquakes have caused significant damage to the school building, so now we'd like to help them patch it up!
The barrier to an upper floor needs to be completely rebuilt.
The ceilings are damaged in several areas.
Cracks like these can be found throughout the school's walls.
This is an opportunity to send money for a specific repair project in Nepal and support the work of this outstanding learning institution. To show our appreciation for your contributions, all donations of $25 or more will have
your name painted on a repaired wall in the building!
Let's help this school's exterior reflect the beauty and integrity of its community! Be a part of this project, and be a part of the Bhassara School community!
