The news of my selection as a fellow into Summer Social Innovation Lab is like a dream finding its way in a more brighter expression. I have always sought to make humanity greater but was always limited on bringing together global perspectives and improving knowledge base. 

Having to take a cue from the part of the world where I come from, Nigeria specifically, the reality of stepping my foot into the summer Lab is the beginning of the spark for greatness. First, it’s a privilege to stay for 21d ays with world youngest innovative minds. Second, having to live in the dream land where anything is possible. Third, is a chance to grow my networks of building Africa's biggest globally framed resource Academy (MUSIC, COMPUTER PROGRAMMING, MOVIES, WRITING & ARTS) for children -- especially for those with little or no opportunities. 

More importantly, is the chance to close the missing gap needed for the ignition for my dream in changing Nigeria and Africa by meeting, learning and becoming a protege to the world's leading social entrepreneurs and tutors. This is my chance, which comes just once in a lifetime. Though its just two weeks left , I am not giving up as my heart has created the vision for the possibility and that would only happen when you ALL help in opening your large heart to the dreams of the 1864 Academy. 

Through the possibility of attending the Summer Lab to be created by you, I will be empowered to affect the lives of children in Nigeria. My team and I will impact 2000 children by 2015 and about 5000 more by 2020, teaching core skills relevant for real development of Nigeria in the 21st century. We also intend to make the Academy  a trail blazer and standard for the government and others to follow using global approaches.

I am raising funds for the airfare needed to attend the institute. The airfare is very expensive in the summer which has kept the airfare very high.
