Our concept is unique in its nature and aims to change america for the better through youth sports. Here at Satch Sports we have designed a system in which Premier Collegiate Athletes train and mentor the youth. This is a progressive step towards getting the American youth healthy again. The recent increase in hi tech gadgets has also increased the rate of childhood obesity and decreased the number of children actively involved in sports. We plan to change this. Our goal is to train 4,000 kids this summer and expand to 15,000 by 2013. In order to reach our goal we need to raise $20,000 to purchase the necessary sports and educational training equipment to efficiently develop this number of children.
The purpose of our training class is to provide children with the proper sports instruction for increased physical and mental development, as well as create a positive environment for them to feel confident and enthusiastic about the sports they love. This training program offers constructive fun and gives children a chance to learn from successful role models of the sports community. One of the major benefits is that children often get enjoyment when they see their trainers on national television (such as ESPN). This gives the children someone iconic to identify with and motivates them to set goals and achieve them.
Our team at Satch Sports has created sports classes that offer children the ability to attend valuable training classes instructed by experienced Collegiate Athletes. Collectively the trainers for Satch Sports have unmatched experience in various sports. These, once High School All-American Athletes, now dominate at the collegiate level, having competed and won National Championships, Olympic medals (in various events), National Bowl games, and are recognized as world-class athletes nationwide. While playing college sports these athletes train the youth in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. They teach children proper technique, specific drills used in the NFL, counsel them, promote a college education and motivate them to set and achieve goals. In order to expand our services to a wider spectrum of children we need your help in raising $20,000.
My name is Charles Satchell, I am the founder and Ceo of Satch Sports.
I am a U.C Berkeley graduate with a bachelors degree in Social Welfare and Sports Nutrition. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and played football at Milpitas High School. I was the top wide receiver recruited in Northern California during my senior year. After being offered a number of football scholarships, I decided to attend college at U.C Berkeley because I felt it offered the best opportunities for the future I envisioned for myself. After playing two football seasons with the Cal Golden Bears, a torn shoulder ended my career and my focus turned towards school and designing Satch Sports Incorporated. My social welfare classes sparked an interest in developing programs that benefit the youth and so I designed the company, developed my staff and began training the youth. I hope to raise enough funds to fulfill the developmental requirements for our expansion to occur. I am very passionate about what we do here at Satch Sports because I know the impact and influence it can has on the lives of each child.
