We want to make your experience with government easier by giving you a simple way to find out about and give input on items and candidates that interest you.
Know what’s going on all the time...by entering your zip code, then choosing the local governments in your area:
and your interests:
...we'll provide you with a consolidated e-mail alert for your area, customized to your interests.
At our web site, you can browse all upcoming agenda items for your local public meetings and vote and comment on any item. If there’s something you’re particularly passionate about, you can share that item and your comments with your friends and family via your social networks. Local governments and elected officials can also proactively address your concerns here, strengthening relationships between citizens and government.

At election time...we give you a consolidated view of your candidates. You can ‘vote’ to support your candidate, share your opinion, and read community-posted news articles about them. We can also compare your voting record with that of your elected official, so you have a ready-made report card on their performance! You can then take that information with you into the election booth on your mobile device. Don’t be left guessing who to vote for ever again!

Best of all the system is non-partisan and free, both to citizens and their local governments!
Until our team is finished working on the code that makes
our ballot system automated, we’re going to do what we can to make it easier for you to research candidates, starting with the Midlands area of South Carolina, at our blog:
blog.voterheads.com.
We currently have many of the pages already designed for our web site and we are currently writing the code to make them functional.
If we reach our tipping point, we will be able to launch and test the Beta 1 version of our web site, which would include:
- receiving email alerts regarding public meeting agenda items per your profile
- active online participation in public meetings per your profile, including like/dislike, comments, and social media sharing on any and all agenda items
If we reach our Total Goal, we will be able to launch and test our Beta 2 version, which would add:
- voting on and reporting on other user public meetings comments
- Viewing and managing personalized announcements on your Voterheads home page
- full ballot functionality, allowing you to instantly access unfiltered research on each candidate and referendum specific to your ballot. It will also give you a ballot report card that will show you how incumbent candidates voted in the past versus your votes through Voterheads.
If we significantly exceed our Total Goal, we will also be able to bring beta testing forward with our mobile apps for the site.
