How We Are Creating It

We believe that the most powerful way that extreme poverty can be ended is by local leaders standing up with local solutions to local challenges. We exist to enable these local leaders through powerful training, a global network and funding to begin and grow poverty reduction projects. 

Our Story & Why You Should Support Us

We were founded by two aid workers who realised in a slum in East Africa that the best answers to poverty came from local people, not outsiders. They decided to start an organisation that would identify emerging local leaders with great genius and passion and support their efforts for local change. We do this work across four continents now.
