We should REUSE prescription pill bottles, right? The reason we can't- reuse may compromise the effectiveness of the child safety mechanism (push and turn). It's a good reason, but the legislation was written in the late 60's to address an immediate concern (child poisonings), and ignored long term environmental effects. Lets design a solution to both issues.

Total Funding Goal: $2,500

$590.70 design process (patent, tools) $305.82 borosilicate glass (144 items) $103.48 FDA silicone sheets (1/8, 1/16, 1/32) $1,100 will be used towards fees for requirements outlined in 16 C.F.R. 1700.20 testing procedure for special packaging of the PPPA. If the extra $400.00 is obtained it will be used to expedite the design process and/or cover unforeseen costs associated with project.
