Medes Magazine will bridge the divide between compelling art, academic research and the masses, focusing on social justice issues.
Our future is one with solid information that affects people's lives. We see a future in which people will use this information to make even more socially conscious decisions.
We are taking the work of academia and making it visually compelling and readable. We believe that we can offer socially relevant information that eschews the party line. To use articles that have been vetted by academia's peer-review process and write them in a journalistic style.
Our story is simple. A collective of writers and artists who have grown weary of horse-race politics who want to bring about positive change through verifiable information and gripping artwork. We feel our project should be supported because information, and access to it, are a human right that can and should be used for the betterment of our society as a whole. We genuinely believe in this mission and we would love for people to help and support us.
