Kinyei promotes social entrepreneurship with two businesses, a socially responsible bike tour and training cafe, which together empower Cambodian youth to work together for the improvement of themselves and their communities.
Katie Hallaran says... Hi Friends! You did it! We did it! We've tipped! With your support, we've secured the initial $12k that we'll need to keep doing good in Battambang. Thank you so much for the support and sharing around that you're doing, we're pleased as pie that we're on our way to reaching the $23k we'll need for the management training program. IF we can crack $20k, Mel and Katie will perform a duet on the ukulele! How's that for motivation? Thank you guys! The Team Kinyei

Katie Hallaran says... Hi Everyone, The clock is ticking with only 4 days left to reach our goal! We're in sight of our tipping point, why not see if we can make it to our goal of $23,000? Thanks for all those who have supported; share it around these last few days, and take a bike ride or a have a coffee break, close your eyes and imagine yourself in Battambang (well, close one eye if you're riding a bike)! Help make the good stick, and break 23k in 4 days! And while you're at it, here's a new post from Sopheap Moth, Soksabike Guide extraordinaire: http://www.soksabike.com/a-partnership-with-grasshopper-tours/ Have a superb day!

Katie Hallaran says... Hi Folks! With ten days to go, we're floored by the support so far, but we've still got our work cut out for us. Please consider a donation to get the good moving full speed ahead - we're more than halfway to our tipping point! Check out the latest news at Kinyei http://www.kinyei.org/story-kinyei featuring a story about Soksabike team member, Phalla.

Katie Hallaran says... Hi guys! Great news - we are nearly halfway to our tipping point! This means just 6k until we are sure to receive the funds and be on our way to funding our management training program. We'd love it if you'd help to spread the word about the campaign to those around you who would find it compelling too. For your enjoyment, I'm adding in (check in comments) a small stickie note artwork by Samnang, one of our cafe closing staff and apparently a budding artist amongst us - it's a stickie note of an angry birds depiction of our morning cafe staff team! Thanks, all! Signing off from Battambang, Katie

Justin says... Hey everyone! Thanks to your amazing support we're already on our way to tipping. With just over a week up we've received a tonne of support from people all over and the social business management program roster is filling up with some really star trainers. We're poised to be able to deliver a killer social entrepreneurship training but we need your help to tip! If you've already donated, please consider sending a personal note to friends and family to encourage them to join in. We've also just re-uploaded a higher quality video! Vimeo encoding complications got the better of us for a while there but we're back and better than ever so check it out! Cheers, Justin and the Kinyei team
