The Future We Are Creating

Hunger in Ethiopia. Ethiopia is one of the poorest countries in the World. Capital and funds are just not available for Start-Up businesses. Donations sometimes dont reach the people. Parishable foods take too long to reach the country. After visiting Ethiopia in 2009 and seeing how beautiful yet poor this country is we knew in our heart we had to help. People are eager to assist and be part of change. The willingness and the bond of the people is strong. It is the lack of Infrastructure and Organization as well as the missing funds that create the Problem. Our plan is to grow and harvest 600 Acres of Fruits and Vegetables. By employing only local Workers, Security Guards, Truck Drivers etc. we will assure that all aspects of this project support Ethiopia and its Citizens. 25% of all produced goods will be donated to needy people in the country. In addition another 25% will be sold locally at near cost to help fill the demand of Food supplies. Leaving the rest to cover the costs of the operation and room for expansion of the project.

How We Are Creating It

We are planning to grow and harvest over 600 acres of Vegetables and Fruits. Negotiations with the Ethiopian government are already in progres and Project Start is planned for Spring 2012. We plan to grow many types of Vegetables and Fruits. For some type of produce it will be neccessary to establish green houses. We will train the local workers with the Techniques and Standards of German Agriculture, Hygiene practices and Greenhouse building, which will help them be able to start their own Farming project and will also provide many with Jobs.

Our Story & Why You Should Support Us

We are a family owned and operated Agricultural operation based in Germany. In the past we donated money as well as care packets to Ethiopia. Unfortunately this help even on a bigger scale is insufficient to provide food and work for the many needy people in Ethiopia. This is why we are commited to our new Project Food4Ethiopia. We have 4 Team members commited to this Project consisting of  Operations Manager, Agricultural Specialist, Transportation Manager and Field Supervisor.  

Because our project will provide Jobs for Locals and will supply many people with food and the right nutrition this is the right Project. All supporters will receive consistent updates on the status of our projects as well as receive live video footage of the Project actually happen. Supporters and Followers will also be able to express their opinion as we will take to heart the ideas and suggestions our supporters and followers have. Also if anyone is interested in Volunteer work this would be a great help !

Additionally projects in other countries are planned for the future. And who knows maybe together we can put an end to World hunger !
