A wholesome preschool atmosphere that is free from prejudice, pesticides and processed foods.
We have a window of opportunity to positively influence our future leaders, engineers, scientists, architects and artists during their most informative years which happen between the ages of 0-5. What a child experiences during the first five years of their life becomes their foundation to build everything else on; what they learn and what they are exposed to, as well as how they hypothesize and rationalize information that they receive. That is why it is so imperative for young children to be taught self-awareness, cultural awareness and environmental awareness during this time.
Society is facing a critical point in the planet's life and if the human race does not pull together in a peaceful cooperative way, then this could greatly affect our very existence as a species. The children that graduate from this preschool will help
create a sustainable future for the generations that follow them. They will also understand the meaning and value of integrity, respect and compassion.
All the bases have been covered... on paper! The unique hybrid curriculum has been written, the healthy environment has been designed inside and outside, and the food served will be whole grains and plant based provided by local farmers. Once the business model has been put to the test to create a proof of concept, then we will switch to the franchise model and offer this internationally. The program has been designed in such a way that allows for individual cultural nuances making the transition from one country to another possible. It may take generations to see the real change, but this preschool program will be the spark that starts this movement.
The Irblich Schools' movement includes a non-profit arm down the road as well as expanding on the ages that the school will serve. The preschool is the beginning to a much grander vision.
I grew up in a time where your IQ was more important than your EQ, or emotional intelligence. School was difficult for me academically and because of that I was bullied by the students and even the teachers. I grew up hating everything about school. I stumbled upon the childcare industry a few years after graduating high school and found I was very good at it. I discovered that what the children really wanted was love and attention and I had pleanty of that to go around. I ended up going back to school to get my degree in Early Childhood Education and graduated with High Honors. I began journaling my job experiences which accumulated over time and ultimately ended up becoming the outline for this hybrid curriculum and business system which will reshape the childcare industry as we know it.
No child should grow up hating school or be afraid to learn new things. Children should be encouraged and inspired to discover their own unique gifts, talents, identity and character, while respecting those same traits in others. Although I find it ironic
that the most influential experiences I have had in my life revolve around school in both positive and negative ways, I definitely have a deep and intimate understanding on what young childen want and how we can use this preschool platform to do some good
for society as a whole. Please help fund the first prototype and be recognized as one of the inaugural financial supporters in the Irblich Schools Community.
