The challenges we face as people are rife – socially, environmentally, and economically. Apathy is a major barrier tackling those challenges – we're focused on increasing the capacity of young people to affect meaningful change in a local context.
Empower young people to explore the issues, and tackle them in a local context – and create some epic short films around it that engage and inspire the wider community!
Inspiring Stories Trust is a New Zealand based charity cranking this innovative new national project. I'm Guy, CEO of Inspiring Stories Trust and recent recipient of Vodafone's 2011 World of Difference programme. I'm a designer/filmmaker/entrepreneur from New Zealand - and since finishing studies last year I co-founded a film production company (Splashroom Media), established the Inspiring Stories Charitable Trust. Right now we're building a solid core team, and are just about to embark on our macking 15-week road trip where we'll hold two-day intensive workshops for young people in every region of New Zealand. Frothing!
