We are the boots on the ground promoting the HR2990 monetary reform bill in communities and on the internet. Our goal is to make monetary reform the number one issue for the 2012 election and get HR2990 passed.

The Future We Are Creating

Monetary Reform as proposed by the HR2990 bill will lead us from a path of economic destruction to one of full employment, prosperity, and sustainability.

The HR2990 monetary reform bill has three key parts that all need to happen for the reform to work.  First the federal reserve is incorporated back into the US Treasury, Second the priveledge of creating money using fractional reserve lending is taken away from banks, and lastly the government creates new money by spending it into the economy.  This is not an easy topic but there are a couple of good sources for getting up to speed and understanding it.  Stephen Zarlenga was instrumental in helping create the bill.  You can find him and information about the bill at www.monetary.org/

If this bill is passed it will transform our economy into a full employment economy where money can more easily flow into sectors that with the system we have now are chronically underfunded like healthcare and education.  

This bill will increase job security and strengthen the middle class.  It will provide us with the means to rebuild our infrastructure including human infrastructure with education and healthcare.

My venture is less about explaining and debating the issue of monetary reform and more about reaching out to people who wouldn't normally think or care about this topic.  If there is any chance of getting this passed we need to get people fired up about it.  This is the challenge I am focusing on.  I intend to do this using social media and youtube.  I also want to organize a network of community organizers who will sponsor events, handout promotional cards, and sell signs people can put in their windows or on their front lawn.  

The goal is to make monetary reform and the HR2990 bill the number one issue for the 2012 election.  All ideas and suggestions to help make this happen are welcome.

How We Are Creating It

We are reaching out to people in their communities both directly face to face and on the internet to tell them about this bill and what monetary reform can do for them.  We Urge them to contact their local representatives and come to organized events to show their support and meet other concerned citizens.  We also will spread the word using youtube and social media.  

Our Story & Why You Should Support Us

I come from a background of building and business.  Oddly enough one of my biggest passions is monetary reform.  I started really digging into this issue about ten years ago.  At first I was trying to understand why we don't seem to be able to stop ourselves from destroying our environment.  This question brought me to the money system and it became glaringly apparent to me that to truly help the environment we need to first fix our financial system. When I heard about the HR2990 monetary reform bill I couldn't believe my eyes.  This bill is exactly what we need to create a financial system for the 21st century.  Unless people start jumping up and down this bill might not even make it onto the radar.  I feel compelled to bootstrap an organization that can reach and inspire everyday Americans who aren't yet familiar with the issue.  Once the ball is rolling this campaign will pay for itself through the usual fundraising techniques with emphasis on selling shirts that people can wear to political events.  

Being a contractor is all about organizing so I am confident I can use my skills to train and manage fellow organizers across the country.
