We are a young company focused on challenging the concept of throw-away culture. Our vision is a future with tiny landfills and safe consumer products for everyone.

With EcoJarz, the possibilities of turning jars into long-lasting, non-leaching, always-handy, on-the-go drink vessels are nearly endless. 

The EcoJarz Stainless Steel Drink Top is designed specifically to help make "Reuse the New Normal."

How We Are Creating It

Our first product — the Stainless Steel EcoJarz Drink Top — is non-leaching and BPA-free.   By making our drink tops fit standard canning jars, we made sure that they also fit hundreds of other bottles and containers that are disposed of everyday.   This drink top will fit on any standard mouth jar, whether it is an empty tomato sauce jar or a cleaned out peanut butter jar.

We've also put all our weight behind Collaboration and Community! We are working with friends and interested colleagues in every aspect of launching this business.  From printing a 3D-model prototype, to funding the initial venture -- from material sourcing to product promotion, almost all the invested time and work have been community and volunteer-based.

Our Story & Why You Should Support Us

The idea for EcoJarz came years ago to Kirby, a renewable fuels mechanic and president of EcoJarz.  Even as a child, Kirby was resistant to drinking out of plastic, having learned in chemistry class that phthalates and platicizers are poison and destined for the landfill . As an adult he saw one-too-many many expensive custom-glass containers and plastic beverage bottles spring up on the market. Finally last year, unable to find a single non-leaching coffee mug in all of Whole Foods, Kirby decided it was time to get EcoJarz out there.

In no time, a bi-coastel rag-tag team, who shared in his passion, assembled to help launch EcoJarz. Since then we’ve worked hard to personally finance and create the project.  And here we are!

We already have a small batch of prototypes already in existence, but we need your help to scale up production and have a big launch.
