Campaign Overview

Help create a method to assess the sustainability of decisions from an environmental, social and economic perspective.

What is the future you are creating?

Know how companies can’t seem to find justification to do the right thing? And governments get stymied by their constituents’ different value systems? These issues are preventing us from moving forward with major moves toward sustainability. Help us put together a methodology that gets industry and government past these barriers to a cooler, cleaner and more caring future.

Who we are

We’re pioneers trying to assess sustainability projects from combined economic, environmental, and social perspectives. We have come at this problem using different toolboxes and have a lot to contribute.

What we are doing

We will hold a workshop in Portsmouth, NH in late April, 2014 with experts from around the globe to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of various sustainability assessment methodologies with the goal of coming together with a single story to tell industry and government. While we may not converge on one methodology, we hope to identify best practices in different situations.

Update

The AIChE's Institute for Sustainability  believes in us! They've already contributed $1500 to our cause! But we need a bit more just to be sure we can hold the event. Please put in whatever you can--every little bit adds up!
