We aim to help disadvantaged children learn to read by creating and donating 20,000 reading kits to the Toys for Tots Foundation and other international projects.
Note: Contributions to the Early Education for Every Child Foundation are not tax deductible as charitable contributions at present, however they will be retroactively tax deductible once we receive our 501(c)(3) status, which is currently under approval. However, donations may be tax deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses.

It has long been said that reading is the gateway to knowledge: only after children have learned to read, can they begin reading to learn. In fact, reading is considered by many to be the most vital skill necessary for a successful academic experience.
However, the hard truth is that annual test reports reveal that one-third of all fourth graders fail to meet even the most basic levels of proficiency on their national reading assessments. Did you know that 70% of those in prison cannot read above a third grade level? The impact of literacy skills clearly carry over into the post-academic adult world. The simple act of teaching a child to read can quite literally change the course of his life in ways we’ll never know and cannot even begin to imagine!
So how can we help prevent at-risk children from slipping through the cracks of literacy?
We can help by giving them a solid foundation in reading in the earliest years of life.
Our Foundation aims to provide 20,000 children with Little Reader early literacy kits. These software-based kits will be donated to the Toys for Tots Foundation who will distribute them to low-income families in addition to the traditional Toys for Tots gifts and books.
By contributing to the Toys for Tots project, funds may also be used to further other EEECF international literacy projects around the world, as needed.
Young children learning to read benefit from:
- Expanded Vocabulary
- Improved Communication
- Increased General Knowledge
- Enhanced Literacy Skills
- Increased Bonding
- Overall Improvements in Kindergarten-Readiness
So where do YOU fit in the picture?
We have already received sponsorship (at no cost) for the Little Reader software licenses from BrillKids Inc., but our Foundation will be responsible for covering both the cost of production for the physical discs and the cost to ship them to the Toys for Tots Foundation and abroad.
We need funding to make that happen, and for that we need YOUR help!
Every contribution, great or small, can potentially be THE donation that changes a particular child’s life forever, taking them from at-risk to one step ahead.
Learning to read empowers children to break the cycle of poverty through education, so join us in making a difference in the lives of the children who need it most today!

Each kit will cost just 55 cents, which includes production, shipping and all transaction fees from our Start Some Good campaign.
This means if we reach our tipping point goal of $5,500, will will be able to produce, ship, and donate 10,000 reading kits. And if we reach our total goal of $11,000, we’ll be able to produce, ship, and donate a total of 20,000 software-based reading kits.
