My name is OYEBANJO, Abiola. I am a Nigerian with global brain lobes. Out of many limitations, I rise up due to the power of empathy. By all indication, I am not meant to be on this forum as am hunted by headaches of dreary
hopelessness that defines an average youth in Nigeria . Passionately, if am not here nobody will.
There is a vision that has kept me burning ever since I was a kid which makes my blazes my eyes with sleep coming as a heavy knock on my conscience. People of my kind would fight for survival as the next moment here speaks volume of suffering people with friends
, families, neighbours and the nation at large filtered with pains and corruption. I am currently a Master Degree Student at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria studying development a course read by few people . I often see that these few only do such to take
cue from the treasuries of bosom international bodies. Yet, I wouldn't allow the status quo determine by sense of humanity.
The knowledge of my rare passion makes every innovation a safe haven. I started with Arts, Music and Comedy. The zeal for social innovation made me continue with the formation 1864 initiative. In 2005 with a vision to possess the compendium of ideas in solving
Nigeria's social and economic problems. These problems have not seize to come up with varied dimension creating a need never to rest our backs. This initiative was started while I was a student of Sociology and Anthropology at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo
University. A scholarly nigerian school I attended by choice of destiny. I am also trained in NIIT computer school, Lagos learning bits of web programming. The effect wouldn't last as quality is overrode by love for self dredging wealth.
As a semi-finalist at the Dell Social Challenge and finalist at few International Essay Competition, I am still cooking up the dream and part of it is ito add little to my zeal by the strong words that will strike my passion.
I am currently a student at AshokaUonline studying Globalization and Entrepreneurship
