Kick at the Darkness - A Photographic Journey

This documentary photo essay will capture the psycho-social impact of humanitarian response on aid workers. The particular lens used will be the daily realities of aid workers in the aftermath of Haiti’s earthquake and cholera emergencies. This photo essay will form the spine for a documentary film that explores the broader issue of psycho-social trauma in humanitarian work.

I am a cyclist and an above-the-knee amputee who used to suffer terribly from 'Phantom Limb Pain'. I ride through conflict/impoverished areas in the world delivering mirrors and 'Mirror Therapy' to less fortunate amputees.
