The Arcadia International Environmental Film Festival, a non-for-profit initiative, will be launched at the end of 2013 simultaneously in 4 continents worldwide. We plan on screening movies and short environmental documentaries. The focus of the festival will be on environmental protection, food security, social inequalities, climate change, pollution and activism. The aim is to enlighten and empower individuals and communities globally to take actions, together, to live a more sustainable lifestyle.
CAB has hosted over 90 artists in its 2009 and 2012 editions, both local and international. The majority of Sri Lanka's most prominent artists have exhibited at the Colombo Art Biennale, and CAB 2012 hosted the largest number of artists participating in one single international art event in the country. Currently, CAB is preparing its third edition for 2014, which will be held from 31st January – 9th February 2014; it will be curated by both local and international art professionals, and plans to showcase art works of around 50 artists from around the world.
The filmmakers have permission from the funding bodies (Screen Australia and Wide Angle Tasmania) to make a longer director's cut of LITTE LAMB that will strengthen the film, honour the story and the hard working volunteers who made this film happen.
