Students Helping Students is a venture run by students and for students. We envision a world where everyone has universal access to quality education.
The project seeks to minimize risks of chronic and/or unsafe unemployment among marginalized youth (18-25) through facilitating access to pertinent opportunities for job readiness and job placement.

GOODRUN is a free running program aimed at increasing the amount of running a student does throughout the school week. Students are encouraged to walk, jog or run upwards of 1 km 2-5 times per week. GOODRUN is an easy to implement, sustainable program. GOODRUN has an online tracking database for all activity with an incentives system to motivate and encourage. Online GOODRUN also supplies a nutrition component with health and fitness lesson plans. GOODRUN team sets up the program at the school and provides guidance and support
DAZI is a social enterprise that aims at preserving Intangible Cultural Heritage - Miao Wax Printing and helping the needy through innovative designs and incorporating cultural wax printing in our fashion garments. DAZI 141 stands for buy ONE and give young artists ONE Opportunity, buy ONE and give midlife unemployed women ONE Job, and buy ONE and give a less fortunate child ONE Hope.
Every High School Senior deserves to have professional Senior Portraits. The High School Senior Help Network (HSSHN) matches families in need with photographers and photo studios willing to offer their services. hsshn.org creates partnerships with photo processing and printing companies to cover the printing costs for the senior portraits. hsshn.org also partners with corporations in the photography industry to help offset the costs to member photographers. It is our belief that photographers truly have the power to make people’s lives better.
Five Points Youth Foundation has been providing Sustainable community outreach to at risk youth and adults in the Los Angeles County area for over twenty years. The management and advisory board have worked tirelessly to serve the under served in local and international communities, to elevate self-esteem and self-sufficiency.

Rescue Foods designs nutritionally complete foods for crisis and emergency. It also links NGOs with manufcaturers to create them. Current projects include bush tucker into Schools and HIV suppliment bar .
I want a national anti-bullying coalition to provide in-class or grade level instruction from certified volunteers. I want a website and youtube videos showing these classes, as well as TV and radio commercials. I want a national movement of parents and teachers and schools making a stronger effort to stop the bullying dead in its tracks. After having my son come home with cuts and bruises (and yes he knows how to block) and hearing stories from other mothers of gang wanna-be children in elementary schools, I want to fix the problem and I am tired of people telling me how hard it is.
