Let's Hash it Out- Road School vs. Public School. As early as Kindergarten our children are herded into labels. Busy, happy, energetic kids are diagnosed with attention disorders because they fail to stay still during 8-hour kindergarten. Maybe exploratory learning is better. Maybe kids can pay attention and retain more knowledge when they are plugged in rather than herded around.
Our youth group is going on a mission trip to help disadvantaged people of Indianapolis, IN in July and need support to offset the expenses of the trip.

Unbelievably, christmas presents destined for sick children at the intensive care unit of Great Ormond Street hospital HAVE BEEN STOLEN. The presents were supposed to be for children too sick to be at home with their families at Christmas. When i heard this on BBC radio 2 this morning I felt so very angry and so at 11:40 18/12/2012 I decided I'd try fundraising money to donate to the hospital for replacement presents before christmas day! Come on people! - even a little bit of cash! - It all adds up! ;)
Professional musician, Keri Weber, is working to achieve her dream as the lead singer/songwriter for Veiled Words. In the process, she would like to help others achieve their dreams through the "Make A Wish Foundation" by donating 100% of profits made from her album "In Your Mind." She has received the majority of funds needed for the project and is seeking $10,000 to complete the album.
