'If I can help just one'.. the focus of Jolanda at an age of 30 made her support many more children today. But there is so much more to be done! Help Jolanda and the Niños Foundation to develop a new program for chance-less and neglected youngsters in and around Cuzco. So they get the opportunity to step out of poverty and truly make a difference for themselves and their family in the future.
Indigenous Peruvians in high Andes communities have little access to health care, and many preventable illnesses go untreated. By educating locals to be community health workers (promotoras), they can bring basic health care services to their communities and prevent illnesses and premature mortality.
The Albergue Marlene is a small animal shelter in Perú ( South America) where 60 dogs and 40 cats have a place to live. The shelter is really small ( 19 x 21 foot ) and Marlene ,the owner, takes care of this 100 animals by her own, collecting left overs from the community market to give the animals something to eat. Somedays the animals have to go to sleep without eating. Please Help us to make the shelter better. With your help we will be able to pay for water, food and the rent of the place.
