Prop Roots strives for the empowerment of the children of the Jingpo minority in a remote part of China, struck by cultural erosion and immense problems around drugs and AIDS, by raising the kids’ self esteem through creative and language education and intercultural exchange. Founder Dr. Anton Lustig is also the world’s main specialist on the Jingpo’s language. Urgent help is needed for a very crucial step: FINISHING the PROJECT CENTER! So that Prop Roots team and volunteers can work from the Heart of the Jingpo homeland!

The Eastern Tibet Training Institute (ETTI) is helping under-privileged rural Tibetan and other ethnic minority youth develop the skills they need to survive in a changing world. ETTI offers training programs in tourism and hospitality, green & environmental technology, computing, accounting, small business management and agricultural technologies. Since its founding in 2004, ETTI has helped more than 1,000 peple find employment and start new businesses.
Set up digital storytelling programs in Tibetan areas to train students, monks and herdsmen. Promote their work in local communities, big cities, on TV and via social media.
The Ginkgo Academy is an effort to overcome the challenges faced by people with disabilities and to serve as a model for inclusive education in China.
