Money is not the only resource we need to make change. StartSomeGood is all about the power of people uniting behind a vision. And we’re thrilled to say we’ve assembled an incredible group of advisors to join us in our journey and to share their expertise with us. They are entrepreneurs, thinkers, doers, creatives, technologists, founders, writers and generally mind-blowingly accomplished people. They’ve founded some of the most popular websites in the world, created new paradigms in online giving, volunteering and collaborating, written books read around the world, inspired new generations of social entrepreneurs, started companies, sold companies and won some of the most prestigious awards possible. We have two Y-combinator alums, two Ashoka fellows, an Echoing Green fellow and others with lists of accomplishments that would make even their mothers blush. Alex Budak photo Charles Best is the founder and CEO of DonorsChoose.org, which has raised over $100 Million for classrooms in need. He is an Ashoka Fellow.

Christina Jordan photo Christina Jordan is the board chairman of Evolutionize.it, with over 25 years in international development experience.  She is an Ashoka fellow.  

Hildy Gottlieb photo Hildy Gottlieb is the co-founder of Creating the Future. She’s a serial entrepreneur, frequent guest speaker and author of numerous books on social change.

Jacob Colker photo Jacob Colker is the co-founder and currently serves as an advisor of Sparked.com, a leading platform for online volunteering. He is a 2009 Echoing Green fellow.

Lauren Anderson photo Lauren Anderson was the Innovation Director for Collaborative Lab, and is a leading speaker and author on the topic of “collaborative consumption.”

Martin Stewart-Weeks photo Martin Stewart-Weeks is a director in the global public sector practice at Cisco and is a director of The Australian Center for Social Innovation.

Steve Huffman photo Steve Huffman is the co-founder of Hipmunk.com. Previously, he co- founded Reddit.com, which was purchased by Conde Nast in 2006.

Tikhon Bernstam photo Tikhon Bernstam is the co-founder of Parse.com, and previously was the co-founder and COO of Scribd.com. He’s twice been selected for Y-Combinator.
